Weekly Lawn Maintenance
We will take care of all your lawn maintenance needs including spring clean-up, fall clean-up and regular (weekly) lawn maintenance. Our knowledgeable and experienced Lawn Care Technicians give your lawn the TLC that it requires. We use only the best mowing equipment available and sharpen our mower blades daily.
Landscape and Estate Management
This is our most comprehensive maintenance plan, and includes spring and fall cleanup along with regular lawn maintenance including edging of your ornamental plant beds and spreading pure bark mulch. We also visit your property to perform necessary weeding, pruning, and watering throughout the growing season. Additionally, we will look for any disease or insect problems that may begin to invade your plants. Included in our Estate Management programs is a complete Fertilization program, beginning with either Montana Turf Organics™ or the Montana Turf eXcel™ base programs.
Lawn Care and Fertilization Programs
Montana Turf Organics™
100% Certified Organic Program Our Organics program is designed to develop thick, healthy, green lawns using organic and organic based products. Synthetic pesticides are not used. We create healthy lawns using an integrated approach to turf management.
Montana Turf eXcel™
Our standard synthetic organic lawn care program consists of (5) lawn visits, each time applying calculated product applications specific to your turf. Your satisfaction is 100% Guaranteed. Fertilization We use professional products from Lilly Miller® and Scotts Miracle-Gro® in our lawn program. Liquid and Granular applications are applied specifically to your turf in metered amounts at strategic intervals through the season.
Broadleaf Weed Control+
Our precisely timed pre and post emergent applications eliminate crabgrass, dandelions and more
than 53 common weeds. Additional applications are provided (free of charge) to prevent or eliminate
new invaders.
Turf Insect Control
We first eliminate insects that have invaded and established colonies, and then prevent surface insects
from damaging your lawn by pro-actively applying Insect Control applications, thus developing a
healthy and beautiful lawn.
Montana Turf PLUS™
The most inclusive Lawn Care Program available in Montana. This addition offers all of the benefits of your preferred program, plus the two following beneficial lawn treatments: Soil Conditioner Xtreme™ A organic based soil wetting agent amended with beneficial soil microbes increases nutrient availability and root zone depth which reduces watering requirements, improves lawn color, and lengthens the growing season of your turf grass.
Core Aeration
By removing 3” soil cores air, fertilizer, and water become available deeper in the root zone. This relieves soil compaction, reduces thatch buildup, and develops a deeper root system which promotes a healthy, vigorous turf. The most beneficial service for a healthy landscape.
ADDITIONAL SERVICES
Not every lawn and landscape needs every service. We tried to combine the most often required treatments into our Turf PLUS™ Lawn Care Program. However, for those clients that have special needs, we provide some optional services that can be added to your annual lawn care program. These services include: CORE AERATION This valuable service helps control thatch buildup and relieves soil compaction. By loosening the soil, aeration improves air flow to the root zone of the turf, increases beneficial microbial growth, and aids in the penetration of water and fertilizer components. Aeration will create a more vibrant root system to make your lawn healthier and easier to manage.
OVERSEEDING
Usually done at the time of aeration, overseeding will help replace natural die back of individual grass plants and fill in bare or thin areas caused by normal activities. Blending new grass varieties into the turf will also help give your lawn more disease resistance.
FLEA AND TICK TREATMENTS
Designed to protect your family and pets from irritating insects which are commonly found in our lawns.
BED WEED CONTROL
These pre-emergent weed-controls prevent most seeds from germinating in your planting area without effecting existing plant material, therefore reducing the amount of time you spend weeding your flower beds.

INSECT AND DISEASE CONTROL
The trained staff of Montana Landscape Management practice what is known as Integrated Pest Management, defined as "a process consisting of the balanced use of cultural, biological, and chemical procedures that are environmentally feasible, and socially acceptable to reduce pest populations to tolerable levels.” Keeping your lawn and landscape healthy through proper management practices, including fertilizing, pruning, mowing, watering, and mulching will greatly reduce potential pest problems. By catching a pest problem early, pesticides can be used in lesser amounts or possibly avoided.
MULCHING & REFRESHMENT

We use only the best quality pure bark mulch. Spreading fresh bark mulch around your ornamental plants has several benefits;

Mulch helps to control weeds by blocking sunlight that causes weed seeds to germinate.

DELUXE TREE AND SHRUB PROGRAM
Six (6) treatments give you a full year of professional care for your landscape plants. DORMANT OIL Start your landscape plants off right with this protective natural oil treatment. Dormant oil coats your plants smothering over wintering insects and their eggs, preventing early outbreaks.
INSECT AND DISEASE CONTROLS
(4) Seasonally formulated treatments to protect your landscape plants, controlling unwanted populations of insects and diseases common in the Pacific Northwest . With regular inspections of your landscape we will identify insect and disease activity, treat plants as needed, and adjust treatments for the best control of infestations.
LATE FALL TREE & SHRUB FERTILIZATION
This custom blend of selected nutrients essential for Northwest plants is directly injected to the root zone to prevent run off and to deliver the nutrients where they are needed.
PRUNING
Made correctly, pruning encourages thicker foliage, bigger fruits, more flowers and a hardier plant. Pruning should be part of your annual maintenance and the cuts will be minimal. If you don't take care of this, you'll find yourself with overgrown, woody stemmed shrubs.
